What Hip-Hop Means To Me
Hip-Hop is more than just rhymes tied together. It's much more. It's a community. It's a lifestyle. It's an art form. It's one of my passions. Becoming a famous rapper is one of my dreams. I have aspirations to be rivals to my idols; Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar.
Two Years and Counting
I've been rapping for two years now and I've learned quite a bit. Through it I've been able to find out who I truly am. As a rapper I try to dig deep inside and come up with meaningful lyrics. Because of rap I've also discovered another passion in writing.
When I first started rapping I thought that what I loved was the actual act of rapping. I found that the part I enjoy most is writing lyrics. This translated me into switching to a Creative Writing major. I'm currently working on a novel and I started a blog that's been met with great reception so far. That blog has led to this.
